PMI course gains CMI recognition

CMI recognition…PMI is delighted to announce that the course ‘Process Management for Managers’ has become a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Recognised Programme.
The CMI is the only chartered professional body is the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards of management and leadership excellence.
On gaining CMI recognition, Managing Partner, Susannah Clarke, said;
The CMI is internationally recognised for its quality and excellence in terms of advice, guidance, support and services for managers and leaders. It sets the standard that others follow. So we are thrilled that this unique organisation has recognised our course, Process Management for Managers.
In order to gain status as a Recognised Programme, the course was mapped against the Management and Leadership section of the National Occupational Standards (NOS). This section identifies the standards of performance individuals must achieve when carrying out functions in the workplace, together with specifications of the underpinning knowledge and understanding.
Previously known as Managing for Every Day Excellence, the Process Management for Managers programme is run as part of PMI’s public training schedule and in-house for clients throughout the world. It captures the best methodologies to transform the way people manage and continuously improve their processes.
As Susannah explains;
It is particularly geared towards people who are responsible for managing a set of processes on a daily basis and are looking to move their team’s approach beyond containing and correcting problems, to problem prevention and performance improvement.
The global business community puts a huge emphasis on performance and demands more skills than ever before. It is our aim to help managers to start excelling and this course is a great way to do this.
This recognition by the CMI is the latest in a series of relationships and partnerships PMI has established with some of the UK’s most prestigious organisations including, The University of Warwick and The Chartered Quality Institute (CQI).

As part of this new status, successful graduates of Process Management for Managers are now entitled to 12 months CMI Affiliate Membership for FREE.
