Lean Practitioner Yellow Belt teaches the Thinking, Approach, and Tools required to implement Lean improvements through Kaizen-based rapid improvement methodology.
Packing the basics of Lean into a 2-day classroom course you will learn the art of Kaizen improvement.
- Day 1 Focus – Introduction to improvement and Lean, APPC simulation, Kaizen, chartering teams, verifying performance with data, understanding the Voice of the Customer, Cycle time, Value Add / Non Value Add, Value Stream Map
- Day 2 Focus – Pre Kaizen meeting, 5S workplace organisation, flowcharts, 8 wastes, Workplace Layout Design.
One of the most frequent challenges we hear from organisations, is that while they want to improve, they struggle to find the time. Sound familiar? If it does then our Lean Practitioner Yellow Belt course is right for you.
Rather than presenting a set of tools, this in-house classroom course combines Lean tools, soft skills & psychology with improvement principles (improve flow, identify value, PDSA, mapping the value stream etc.) within a proven Kaizen methodology. Kaizen events are short but very effective improvement workshops designed to tackle problems quickly and effectively whilst stimulating a lean improvement culture in all levels of the organisation.
This ensures you will leave with an ability not just to apply Lean improvement but to make it work effectively in your organisation, from day one.
